I have a white box that flickers across my pc screen when I play a svcd that i D/l in bin and cue formate. I use vcdgear to convert to a mpeg so that I can view it before I burn it to see that its the right movie . Then i use Nero to burn as a VCD so I can watch in on my home dvd player. It does not happen when I d/l and avi movie file , just bin and cue, in svcd formate. Now I think it might be a codec of some kind but I am really miffed . I use wmp to view my movies on my pc and thats when the box appears, if I use power Dvd to watch them then its gone. But its back on the burnt copy ....please help me out
    thanks

I'm not saying that it will definitely help but I'd try converting bin/cue to ISO & then burning w/ Nero

    Just my €0.02 worth [IMG]

Wait a sec? VCD? do u use a VCD header trick or something

Do you have the MPEG-2 codec?? All you need to get it is install a software dvd player!

edit: also the files on SVCD have riff headers so playback might be strange sometimes! usually wouldnt be a problem though!_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Come Say Hi on IRC!!! Server: irc.emule-project.net channel: #ad_buddies
