Erasure converts video disc to data only disc

    After burning a TV program onto a DVD+RW disc using a Liteon player/recorder I used Nero 6.3.1.17 to do a Full Erase so that I could use the disc to record again. When I then put the erased disc into the Liteon it identified it as a "Data Disc" and wouldn't record another TV programs onto it. Is there some step that I am missing here?

    Hi there,

    Can you Initialize the RW media with your DVD Recorder ?

    Check the menus and/or your DVD Recorder manual.

    Erasing a media with VSO Eraser, Nero still wanted to erase it it's own way :)

    Erasing with Nero, didn't make all software see it as blank.

    So I guess they all have their methods of erasing the RW media !
