AC3 codecs

    Hi I have read all your messages about the ac3 codecs, i have downloaded them and installed them, but i still dont get any sound while playing james bond - die another day....
    What am i doing wrong?

    Are you sure your movie requires an ac3 codec to play? Did you try running it through gspot to see which codec would be needed...Sorry if you already did, but i havent read your other post.

    What ac3 codecs did u get? I found that the divx ac3 codec from sharereactor is excellent!

    Someone posted something about the file getting it from kazaa but it did not work for me.
    So i tried this url:
    http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ac3filter/ac3filter_0_68b.exe

    and this worked great for me

    ps: i got gspot like you told me and its a great proggie, it showed exactly what i needed,
    i have loads of codecs, so all my movies work(xcept die another day, but this one works fine now to)
