    Hi,

I bought a JVC harddisk camcorder around 3 month ago. I have recently taken my files off of the camcorder and now i wish to make a movie using windows movie maker. But i have come across a problem. Windows movie maker doesnt recognise the file type. So i was wondering if there is anything that i can get to convert my files to mpeg or avi.
Help needed as soon as possible!

    Thanks in advance.

You could also try AVS Video tools. I have just bought it and it is excellent.

I do not work for them, just had 2 movies with useless file types and it converted them brilliantly.

I am new to Digital Video and have obtained and have bought a JVC MG21EK Camcorder. Did you not get any software with the camera, mine did and I have used this with no problems.
