i reformatted my computer a few weeks ago and i dont know what i did wrong but after installing windows xp, i ended up with two. when i turn my computer on, i get to select between the two. One works fine. the one im using now. But the other one freezes when its on "installing windows xp". I want to delete that one to clear up some hd space. anyone know how to do this??? need help fast.

bassically what you did when you reformatted was you did not delete the old partition, which left you with 2 windows on your computer. To fix this get your Windows disk and when it asks which partition you want to install it on, look for the key to press to delete the selected partition, delete all partitions, then create a new partition and install windows. Hope this helps.
