Help me buy a new Mobile

Hey guys, i came here today to look for advice from you guys in helping me choose a new mobile to buy.

Basically I am buying a new mobile in China (cause hopefully it's cheap) and i'm going to use it in Australia.

What i'm looking for is something that will have lots of features that i want such as:
[bold]Video and music playback[/bold] (like something that works like a palm, i can install codecs and play anime mp4's etc, so something with a high resolution and a screen big enough to read the anime subtitles)
Something that generally [bold]works like a Palm pilot[/bold], ie touch screen,
Something I can install games on. Customability with software is a plus.
The general stuff such as bluetooth.
And since i want to play videos on it, i'm looking for it to have
Taking photos will also be a plus.
[bold]storage capabilities[/bold] as well, (expansions such as sd cards will do).

Now I heard from a friend that if I bought it from China, then it won't work in Australia because of some band problems? Could someone please clear this up for me.

Right now i'm looking in the direction of the SonyEricsson P990i. Can you guys help?

well if u like nokia models the in prefer u to get the nokia N70 ..IT HAS ALL THE FEATURES U HAVE LISTED ABOVE

But really, I dont understand why you would ask for help then not except it when it is given to you by people who are only here to help you.

 

When i need help, i ask for help and i'm greatful (btw what happened to the 10 or so posts that seemed to have magically vanished?)

but however, when i ask for help and i receive an answer that i know already and have stated in the post asking for help, i'd thought that people would answer my question without repeating what i have said,

in my post i had said

so i therefore i must already know about the SonyEricsson P990i right? So I wouldn't really expect to get a reply telling me to look at the P990i as a suggestion rather i'd expect a reply telling me which mobile i should purchase and why i should purchase it, or what are some good features compared to other phones.

so in reply to andersg, I am basically receiving information that is not helpful in anyway at all, which i must highlight, is the point as to why i am ungrateful.

However so it seems that I have been ungrateful to the "help" given to me and so i apologise.

Btw does anyone have any idea if Dopods have a slot for memory expansion?
