SATA / IDE conflict

    I currently have 3 IDE drives in my system but I can run SATA ( i had the IDE drives before the SATA capability. I have heard that some MOBO's wont run the SATA drive if an IDE drive is already the master?

    not heard that one b4 try updateing the mobos drives

    well ive since added a sata drive and had no problems, cause whoever told me that was missinformed or had an odd problem of their own.
