I have made backups of a few of my dvd's with dvd2one 1.2 and they have came out perfect. But lately I've been having trouble. The problem I'm having is they won't fit on a blank dvd-r. It has done this a couple of times already. I have it on the default settings (4472 disc size)but Nero won't burn it. Any ideas of what is happening?

This used to happen in DVD2One v1.02 aswell

    I have DVD2One v.1.20 set at 4300 , no problems (so far)

You can always try DVD Shrink 2.3 <--(d/l)

It a good prog & free too...

I (and I think others) would put this on a par w/ DVD2One

Ok thats sounds cool. I'll give that a try. So do i leave it at 4300 all the time or just when the movie length is long.
I have used dvdshrink 2.2 once and it did good. I had one problem though, everytime i chose a menu it would stop on me. An example, I would chose scene selection and then it would stop and go to the dvd logo screen. I have dvdshrink 2.3 is that better than version 2.2.

It'll stay at 4300 MB unless you change it (set it back if you like)
I have only tried DVD Shrink 2.3 , but it did an excellent full-disk back up of a v.fussy DVD
I left menu alone , stripped all uneeded audio & subtitles & then made the extras at highest compression [still images]
    I would give it a try , it is free !: )-
