hey guys, a quick and simple question here. The IT department at my college was kind and gave me a 21 inch dell monitor for free the other day and i want to add it to my laptop (sony pcg-k23) as a second screen. on the back of the laptop is a monitor plug thing. however though, i do not want this monitor to show the same image that is on the laptop screen, i want to be able to scroll from monitor to monitor so i can have two seperate windows opened at the same time for when i do spreadsheet work or doing research for a report. will the stock video card allow me to do this, or will i have to install a new card that will let me do this. any help would be greatly apreciated guys. thanks
