Xbox dvd drive opens when not in case but once in the case it won't

    I've taken the Samsung dvd drive apart, it opens when the metal case is removed but when I put the top back on it won't slide, just makes a click doesn't budge.

    Any ideas how to fix this

    make it the ways it was why would u take it apart??

    I have same problem.For months I had to push 3 times to open dvd.Upper metal case apart = works fine.Not a clue yet.

    It stopped working, thats why I took it apart. It's still sat here, anyway, I have another so may take that to bit s and put them all back together, see if different parts work better together.

    Thats about the extent of my technical know how. :D
