SLi Question

    Well i have a XFX 6800GS 256MB XXX Edition, i was just wondering if I bought a BFG 7800 OC 256MB video card could they run in SLi?

    thats a great link elokito!

    and yes they do have to be the san model.

    also sli cards cannot run sli on a crossfire mobo

    hell no dnt turn up like sammoris dnt talk about something u dnt know!!! read!!! learn!!!! look up my mobo msi 975x platinum its a crossfire mobo but hell with it im runing my 2 6600gt on it there r modded drivers that will allow sli on 975 mobos

    not every mobo has the capacity to do that. only some mobos can do that.

    hum so that clearly means no sli on crossfire mobo huh? sli on crossfire mobo is possible end of story i win hahahaha

    thnx, i was wonderin bout that, well then i have the XFX 6800 GS XXX edition, so can i lets say add a BFG 6800 to make it SLi, or does it have to be an XFX 6800GS XXX edition, thnx again.

    yea. it can be difirent makers, but it [bold]MUST[/bold] be the same chipset

    noo didnt u read he wants to mix a 6800 gs and a 6800 as u c they dnt match so there not the same models the answer is no

    so i guess that means its has to be a 6800GS, but can be a diffrent maker.

    a 7800 beats 2 6800gs any day so stick with the 7800 maybe later on u could buy another 7800 and sell the 6800gs
