My windows os suddenly conked out and now i need to reinstall it but im afraid i'll lose all my data on my hard drive can any plz help?
If you just do an install without formatting or removing partitions, your data should remain intact. What happened to Windows? It may be able to be fixed without a reinstallation. ~Rich
This sounds close to what has happened to mine today! Today it wanted to freeze up, & now tonight it is telling me "failed to read drive C" Any ideas on how to get this back up?
