I have 2 nokia 3205 which are locked to Orange and I cant use them because I need to get it unlocked so I can use it on another network. I pressed this code *#639# and this came up:

    Service prog. code:

So what does this mean? Anyone know?

    Thanks

That is the code that allows the phone to talk with the Provider.
When you buy a Service, the phone is programed to work on that Network.
    Be careful with that.

I believe that it is a CDMA phone.
    Does it work?
What Network is the phone on?

They are CDMA. That is why they have ESN.
    GSM phones have IMEI .
I am not sure whether you can activate a CDMA service in OZ but you can try. We cannot unlock it here.
You might be able to use what is called B channel but I really have never had to deal with that.
You could search the Nokia suppore for the manual for that phone and see how to do that. The Network provider might be able to help you.
That's about all I can offer. I have asked the real EXPERT to look.
