Hard drive trouble wrong size HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!plz

    hi there i have put 2nd 80g hard drive in my system but in windows it is saying it is only 31g can any body tell me why this is and how i can resolve the problem .

    check on the hd between the ide connector & power connector that the jumper is set to lba mode & not 31gig.
