got a problem other than driver/software...

    I have a Motorola V180, and I'm having trouble getting Mp3's to be played when my phone rings. The part that most confuses me is that after transfering the songs to the phone and going to Menu/Multimedia/Sounds, the Mp3's will play perfectly. My only issue is that when I set the Mp3 as a ringtone, it doesn't. Instead of playing the specified Mp3 when the phone rings, it plays a classic, boring tone instead. Anybody know how I can fix this issue? Any help is appreciated...

    How long is the ringtone file? I think they should be less than 30sec to be playable as a ringtone.

    Well, I put an Mp3 that is only 15 seconds long, and that tone doesn't play either when the phone is ringing.
