I recently successfully installed my Qoob Pro with the latest bios. For some reason some original games have stopped working since the installation, for example both original copies of Metroid Prime and Resident Evil do not run on my GC, therefore the backups do not work either. It boots to bios, says running game and then theres a black screen, the disc never stops spinning, always a black screen. However, I can make perfect copies of the original games that do work. The original games that don't work in my GC work in my sisters unmodded GC, i thought it may be a case of tweaking the laser pot. After failing this i swapped the laser drive from the working GC and put it in my modded one, for some reasons the original still wont run! Tested Games: Mario Sunshine, original and backup works Metroid prime, original and backup both display nintendo logo, then black screen Boyind Good and Evil, original and backup work Luigis Mansion, both original and backup work Resident Evil, both original and backup go to black screen So basically my gamecube will not run some original games meaning that of course i cannot run backups of them. Does anyonehave any suggestions why?
