Hello All, Thank you to who ever veiws and respondes to this post. First off, I use an external NEC DVD/CD R-RW see specs in signiture. I bought the computer from DELL about 2-3 years ago and the thing worked perfectly for about 1 year. Then all of a suddent when I shut down my PC and start it up the usb icon appears in the taskbar for about 2 minutes and then the green arrow thing. When at first it was just the little green arrow. Well my dvd burning has went from 30-45 min to 1hr 15min to 1hr 45min. My PC is 2.0 compliant is there anything I can do to find out the problem.
hello. try to get updated drivers for your mother board from dell or manufacturer if it work fine 2 or 3 years a go i should unless something is wron with your motherboard or operating system
yes it shows enhanced usb in the device manager and Dell has software that updates the bios and everything as soon as it becomes available.
