Anyone ever bought any 'reprints' or discs that are otherwise are likely to have been touched by human hands (and therefore fingerprinted)? (obvious next question) --> What were you experiences?
they are as good as new bro i purchased 200 of the reprint CD's and every single one was perfect no problems wat so ever
So are they all Branded (can you see the branding) by the same people? Are they all the same manufacturer (who is this)? Did you find fingerprints on any of them? Thanks
nah sorry for the late reply but there was not any finger prints as far as i can remember they were as good as new like u would expect i havent tried the ones u have listed tho
Jeez, despite my rancid posts, I am a senior member. Thanks :-D Can you check who manufactures those overprints, please? Check this thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1913 Thanks!
AIUI the overprints are CMC. Mine were anyway. I got a duff batch mind. Around 20-30 were very scratched and some were damaged beyond redemption. Didn't bother sending them back, they were only 9 quid when I got them
yeh but if ur rich then wouldnt u spend ur cash on a guaranteed product as u can AFFORD to spend u might as well spend and buy the expensive brands that will work makes more sense than buying cheaper unreliable CD
The rich thing was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek. I use it a lot in real life, it turns heads -- most people scream poverty all of their life Didnt mean to diss your find, anyway... sounds good, and its always useful to have "throwaway discs" You can find some real cheap stuff sometimes on Ebay or EBid (http://kamikaze.ebid.co.uk/html/generated/spr_600S1997.php) More overprints here: http://www.computermarket.com/mall/3CB31590/Mainly_Media_80_min_CD_Recordable__61.html (hmmm, the wording seems familiar) I wonder whether the fact that they are thicker would cause any problems long or short term... Googling for "Overprint CDR Problems" only reveals a couple of not-too-informative threads...
I bought 800 of the overprint disks from blankdiscshop, some were verbatim, some were imation. there was quite a few that had scratches, but I reckon I binned about 60 of them in all. (not bad really considering how cheap they are!!)
Hi, I am looking for blank CD-R as cheap as possible anywhere in the world. I need to buy bigger quantities (between 10.000 to 50.000 pcs) so I need VERY LOW PRICE!!!!!! Direct shipment from Asia is acceptable. Can someone help me with information on manufacturers. TX
