ff7 pc

just installed and graphics seem fine. However, am wondering....am I supposed to be running around in the dark? I am at the very beginning of the game.

 

I read once that if you ever installed quicktime, it ruins the game. Even uninstalling quicktime wont fix it has to be a fresh copy of windows...that was my problem when I tried to install ff7 anyway.

at least I know there's an issue here. running around in the dark didn't seem fun at all! lol )
I'll dig in and see what I can find...stay tuned

 

Update:
Uninstalled FF VII
Uninstalled QuickTime
Deleted all remaining instances/registry entries for QuickTime
Reinstalled FF VII

Ta-da!
A successful mission
FF VII fully functional.
