broken sword!!!!

av just got Broken Sword: The Angel Of Death and av installed it but when i try and play it comes up with a direct x error.

 

What does the error say?

Update the drivers for you gfx card,and reinstall directx.

 

it says there was an error starting directx.

 

The above solution should work but if not click start>run> type in dxdiag.exe and press "ok".This will take you to the directx diagnostic utility where you can : check to see if everything is working properly,Run tests,and trouble shoot the problem.

 

how do you update the gfx? iv dun the direct tests and they all come back ok!

"how do I update the gfx" Ok it depends on your hardware it's either nvidia or ati.To see which one it is just do :start>control panel>display>maybe advanced button etc

Ok now when you find out your gfx card go to the web site (either nvidia or ati)and get your new drivers.
