transfering everything inc windows from one hdd to another please help

    my hdd is on its way out and crashing all the time i have purchased a new one but want to know if there is a way or any software that will copy from one drive to another inc all software and programs that includes windows xp

    norton ghost can make a identic copy of win and all your software install on it

    If your new HD came with a partitioning utility, usually those also can transfer an image from your old drive to your new one.

    Look for Acronis True Image. Easiest one to use by far. I'm sure that other people here would second that.
