Cant get vobs to play on my dvd player

I am currently using a program to change wmf, divx, avi etc to mpeg2 so I can play them on my dvd player . When change the file vob show but it doesnt have any ifo's or bup's . How do create my own ? Any suggestions would be appreciated .

Or you can just use an authoring program to create the dvd's..

 

what are the name of these program that author the dvd by themselves ?
