    So I haven't been able to find anywhere that says exactly if I can extend my windows partition to full size or not. I have windows installed on my 400GB and would like to fill it with one partition. I already have another 400, a 300 and a 750, so I'd like to keep the number of drives as uncrowded as possible. Does Maxtor's Large Drive Support patch or a BIOS flash enable this, or just other partitions?

    The mobo is an ASUS whatchamacalit, don't remember, I built the computer years ago and just reformatted. I can afford to experiment on the drive and can easily reinstall. I have SP2 running atm.

    Where the heck is the edit button...? Sorry for the double-post ^^;;;

    It's ASUS P4P800 SE ACPI. I sorta read thru the BIOS updates on the ASUS site, and it doesn't mention any patches that update Large LBA support, so maybe it comes with it and I just can't extend my boot partition?
