Well the title kind of speaks for itself(if it is actually the drives fault.) Heres the deal. Whenever I install/burn something from/to a CD/DVD, my computer runs mad slow for some reason and I have no clue why. You try to play audio, its slow and very grainy, but when it stops, say installing a game it asks you to insert a second cd, it works fine again. It's starting to really get annoying and I don't know why at all its doing this. I think this started when I last reformatted my computer, but it might have still happened before hand. I don't really remember. Does anyone have any thoughts on why this is?
Your drive could just be dieing mate; and anyway if it is interfeering with your PC's performance then you might want to consider a new one anyway... what model is your drive?
