Im having trouble with my USB's. It seem if i try to connect devices using a USB extention cable my computer transfers and reads files very slowly. I have some USB 2.0 ports in the back but they do not seem to make any difference. Can someone help me out?

USB extension cables are prone for slowdowns and even malfunctions. Unfortunately the total length of the cable with a USB extension means that data transfer is very slow. The only real way of resolving that is to try and figure out a way of not using the cable, perhaps using a hub?

Yeah I'd recommend a hub. They're not perfect either, but can extend your cable without too much incident. USB hubs I have recently noted are not compatible with gamepads.

Also, some digital cameras have issues with the USB hubs as well. You need to read up on the devices that you plan on using with the hub, as they may not be compatible.
