DVD-Rom won't play Akeelah the Bee

    Hello all,

    My problem is my DVD-ROM will not for some reason play the movie Akeelah and the Bee. I have a Dell computer with a Liteon DVD-ROM LTD 163. For some reason the movie won't even load. I have cleaned the disc and everything. Neither my Power DVD nor Nero DVD software will play it. Is this some type of new technology or what? All help is appreciated.

    Is this a burnt copy of the film or the orginal?

    this is the original just got it from Netflix.

    Ok i wanted to check so that i could eliminate bad burn/media.


    Does the disk play in a dvd player?
