    Under 'Performance and Quality' in the 7800 Control pannel, what would you recommend the settings should be for my PC?

    my specs are roughly;
    3.4GHz Pent 4 with HT Dual Core Processor
    300 Gig HD
    Duel 7800GTx In SLi
    2gig DDR2 Ram

    Any questions welcome

    If you are serious about spending the time setting the system up correctly, then read through and act on this.
    I use it all the time, very useful info all all system setings and tools.

    It's up to you, do you want/need those quality enhancements? Bear in mind some cause compatibility issues with some games. I like to run 4x Anti-Aliasing and 8x HQ Anisotropic filtering (You can't HQ with nVidia, but you can run 8x) with the games that allow it. With two 7800GTXs you shouldn't be dropping too many fps in enabling those features. VSync is a good addition to games that need it, particularly OpenGL.
