I used to the open file menu and opened the subs and the movie but when I look at the movie no subs. I went into track and there was two english ones and 4 other languages is that the reason why it isnt working? I have a avi movie and a idx subs.
And your settings looks like this: X in Autodetect subtitle files and give Subtitle autodetection fuzziness value 3. After that is should be enought that video and subtitle are in same folder with same name.
