im thinking of buying this laptop. can i have your opinion if its good or not. im low on money so £400 is the highest i can go. becuase im poor :-( lol http://comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/572_356140.html
that's about the best you'll get for the cash. it's a decent midrange compie, easily portable, but don't expect to do much gaming or lots of intensive tasks with any speed.
Looks ok to me. I don't have a problem with the AMD chip either. I would even say that AMD is better than intel.
yet another thread teleported out of 'All Other Topics' forum @IM1 - can you stop doing this and start threads in the correct forums, this is highly annoying...
Turion 64 is a great proc but gets hot quick, recommend to pick up a lapdesk with usb fans, trust me.
there these other two. are they better? http://comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/572_354236.html http://comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/572_336688.html
no,not really.i would stick with the 1st one.just remember though dont expect any miracles with shared graphics.its limit is watching dvd movies.
some games do work fine with onboard graphics. just not the latest games. that second one has too little memory (256MB)
so should i just get the first one? would it be fast enough to watch watch dvd's and films? maybe i should wait till christmas becuase prices go down dont they?
i watch DVD movies on machines most of you lot would sniff at - ie P3 800 or P3 866 machines. with onboard video
