XBOX 360 IS JUST AN XBOX.

you can not just say that without giving it a chance, you say it lagged you said it had crap games, i agree, but thats what happenes when your a rich bastard and you buy the first xbox 360 that comes out, the ps2 had major problems aswell, but b/c its sony and not M$ people gave it a chance and look how it turned out, still crap in my opinion, but it sold over 100 million.

Hey there am new so take it easy!

First of all both of you are very RUDE!! *SLAP to each of erm*

Now PS3 is not crap but it has disadvantages where XBOX 360 will come out to be more convinient and will lead out same for PS3 vice versa.

now first of all PS3 is using the blue ray technology which is good but not too good wither as it is not as secure as HD-DVD or DVD so third party companies will be not happy using it therefore SONY will loose out on some games here until they find a way to make Blue ray more secure (for most of use's out there PS3 is technically a Lab Rat for BLue ray technology).

Seondly, now the joypads are using radio frequency on the 360 where as the PS3 is using BLuetooth, now Bluetooth is everywer and using that technology means that they WILL be interferences with the gameplay even if you consle is set and connected to the software (again BLuetooth depends on software not hardware another disadvantageous) considering the 360 the 360 is using radio frenquencies and will not interfer with anything else when connnected to the 360. Also there are virsues out there for bluetooth so watch out.

thirdly the 360 is using unified pipelines which makes the whole rendering and graphics gameplay a whole lot easier for the system, hence why microsoft did not need the CELL CPU. whereas the PS3 is using the stanard divided pieplines technology.

fourthly, the 3 CPU in the 360 can help the division on workload, therfore it will not divide the processes but will assign procceses to each CPUs so for example 1 CPU (not core 1 CPU) takes care of grpahics, one takes care of sounds the other can be run XBOX LIVE! whereas the PS3 hsa to divied everything trough one parent CPU and give the 7 SPE cores a job.....frankly very stupid of CELL.

and finally my major blow!!! CUSTOMISATION!!!
You want a console to be YOUR console not microsoft's or SONY's BUT YOURS!!! the 360 allows that with customisable front plates and themese including the help of LIVE XBOX 360 is much better online too when it comes to gameplay altough PS3 will give it a run for it's money.
