I wrote this tutorial with the willingness to help but I don't know what the hell happened to the thread.... im out. spammers and people posting about so out of topic items. im out.

Maybe delete a few of the posts that have nothing to do with the tutorial? Like how to rip games perhaps... and killing that spam would be nice too :)

I think people are just curious more than anything. It seems hard to find pluasible informtation on these types of things.

Help please I got the green tags on the merger and hit merge, the file if 1k.DVD its ok, but a tried use the cloneCD and i have the error open file layerbreak=1913760: the game lord of the ring II

That happens sometimes, open the smaller file with a text editor like notepad and check to see if it's pointing to the big file.

note pad say (LayerBreak=1913760 mrg-bme2.iso)its correct ? and the iso name is (mrg-bme2.iso) its correct ? I need rename the .dvd file ?

Im having a problem using wxripper. I have a sony dru-820 drive. It can do it all. When i start to dump the xbox 360 game, I keep getting crc errors even though i changed the layout file. The first three c's to d's. I did that but, I still keep getting crc errors on the forth and sixth line. There are no scracthes on the game and the game im trying to burn is prey.

After a long wait a got it to work... i just got my new burner ...
cause i couldnt made it to work on neither my 2 NECs...
Cant be anything else it has to Pioneer 111D... first burn on Verbatin, and work like a charm! now I'll try some other brand DVDs... i got some Memorex get use then up!
So happy 1st backup is Pray. hope you get it to work too...

Hi, i need some help
the tutorial is great. i have ripped my xbox 360 game onto my pc fine.
i have got the green tags on the merger with the right ss.bin file and i click on merge. then i burn the game with clone cd fine.
when i put it into my xbox 360, it comes up with that it can not be played and to clean the disc.
can any one help me on this? it has been modded for backups to work, i have downloaded some games and they all worked fine

hi, so you like to know how i got a dump of a xbox 360 game onto my computer hard disk?
well, click onto http://www.clevermod.com/index.php?article=12 for the how to.
you will need a DVD drive what you can open up.
also, i have got a non-copy of need for speed to work on the xbox using a new way. i have used Xtreme software and firmware.

matt07, you need to get an compatiable burner and media.
What drive are you using?
Hitachi needs Pioneer 111D (best), or Lite-on
Samsung needs lite-on

i have burn a few games off with rivision dual layer dvd and every one of them work great. i use a Pioneer 110 dvd burner to burn them.
i can rip the game onto the computer hard disk find. when i burn it, it will not play on the xbox 360
as any one got any idea's?
