Hi folks,
Have ftp the new rom files to my dbox. When i reboot, the display says "U Boot Loading Kernel" and constantly repeats this without turning on.
I'm using the Andromeda image. Any help would be appreciated.

what one you using at moment,lincsat is the only one that has worked for myself without need to ftp the fixed rom files

Using Sportster with new roms as described earlier. Odd bit of sound trouble every few days that lasts a few seconds. Other than that its great.

I used your instruction guide from your 4shared as per page 3 of this thread.
I found it to be very useful and I thank you for all the trouble you have gone to.
My box is Nokia 2. I used the Sportster image , the service and bouquet files and the new NARGROM files for N*L Dublin as per your text and now my problem is that after doing a service scan I get only 44 channels. ( I tried a few times)
When I do a Service Scan what options should I pick from the Menu?
I see only 5 transponders being found during the full scan.
Am I missing something?

Sorry for delay in response. Been away.
The settings used for my scan which gave 13 transponders
cable provider Cabeluksym6887
fast scan on
manual off
frequency is blank
symbol raste blank
fec 1/2
polarization H
Dont ask me why but it worked.

Thanks for all the posts guys its really great help.
i have a dbox2 nokia but the problem is it hangs and freezes alot of the time. sometimes every 10 minutes and i have to turn if off and on again. its very annoying, and i dont know what the problem is.
iv tried different images but the problem persists. i dont know what to do.
would anyone know why it is doing this and maybe know a solution to it??

I know it's a long shot but I'm sure that there are other people in my situation:
I have now a useless Sagem Dbox and I was wondering if I can usefor example as a satellite receiver? By maybe reinstaling a new Linux image...
Any ideas welcome, thanks in advance
