    Hey all
when playing certain xvid and divx files, the audio track information is shown on the screen overtop of the video. It is fairly annoying- to the point where i wont even watch these files. I have looked for options to disable this feature- i am using realplayer but have also had the same issue in WMP10. Here is a sample of what i am seeing:

    Audio Track:
Input description 24000 Hz, stereo 48 kbps mp3
    current input bitrate 48 kbps
    Audio Track:
Input description 24000 Hz, stereo pcm (uncompressed)
    current input bitrate 0 kbps

Anyone have any thoughts on how to eliminate this? I have a feeling that it is embedded in the video portion of the file and that it isnt simply a matter of turning some option off- but if possible i would like to salvage these files. Appreciate any help that someone may have
    thanks

well- never mind i found my answer- it had to do with ffdshow - there is an option to have the audio data shown on-screen. simple matter of unchecking the OSD option in the quickstart menu of ffdshow in windoze
