hello guys,is my first time here so if i am doing anything wrong forgive me. Here's my problem.I have 20 rmvb video clip and 20 srt files, their subtitles.how can i do that into a Dvd so i can see it at my dvd player?
Hi there, The latest version of ConvertXtoDVD v2.1.3.160 should handle those files now: Just found all those .DLL here --> http://www.dlldump.com/ Let's test Good Luck !
I have pncrt.dll and drv43260.dll in C:\WINDOWS\system32 but I still can't get ConvertXtoDVD to convert rmvb files. Is that the right place to put the dll files? Do I need drv23260.dll and drv33260.dll also? Has anyone successfully use ConvertXtoDVD to convert Real Video files as VSO claimed it can do? I tried to get tech support from VSO, but they only refered me to their Version History page with no explanations. No help at all!
Hi there, Add them to your ConvertXtoDVD directory. BTW v2.1.4.162 was released, more bugs fixed, worth it to upgrade to latest
I did try putting them in C:\Program Files\vso\ConvertXtoDVD but the conversion still failed. Here's the log: -----------Encoding begin-------------- Encoding quality: 100% []Engine Log []Don't fix audio gaps Opening file "G:\Great Hero\sing-vb01.rmvb" 3 Stream(s) found - est. duration 00:43:22.492 Stream #0 - Audio: cook, 44100 Hz, stero, 96 kb/s Stream #1 - Video: Real Video 10, 400x300, 352 kb/s Stream #2 - Data: 0x0000 Stream #2 (data): skipped (codec type 2) Project size 4.3 Gb.(59.6Mb. audio - 4.24 Gb. video) ------------Title #1------------------- Converting "G:\Great Hero\sing-vb01.rmvb" Video bitrate 0/8308/8308 Kbps (min/avg/max) Fullscreen (4:3) set automatically NTSC 29.97 FPS output format set by user Video source original frame rate: 12.00 Source frame rate is too low to allow pulldown conversion.Frame duplication will be used. BTW, I do have the latest v2.1.4.162
Hi, Disregard Stream #2, there is an open bug with VSO on that done. Seems to detect fantom streams or some other subtitle streams and doesn't know what to do with it. Based on this partial log, it has detected your video as a Real Video 10. Did the conversion fail on it's own, or did you stop it ? Seems to be it would have gone for it ? !
It stopped on it's own, almost immediately after I press the "Start" button. Error while opening decoder for stream #0,1 was the last error before the conversion failed message. Does it seem it couldn't open those dll files? (I assumed those dll files are the decorders, correct?) I downloaded all the drv*3260.dll files from www.dlldump.com
Hi, I know you have already provided a lot of information, thanks you. If you post the complete log file from start to finish, I will be able to pass it on to a programmer at VSO to look at. Maybe it is just this particular file, but myabe VSO could give some feed back. Thanks,
I've tried several different rmvb files. All failed in ConvertXtoDVD. I could convert those rmvb files to VOB successfully using other video convertors. Hi there, Thank you for the full log. Is there a direct link where I could download at least one of those files ? I would like to upload such file to the VSO FTP Server for the developpers ? OR could you upload one of those files yourself, so VSO can analyse it ? If you can upload, please contact [bold]claire @ vso-software.fr[/bold] (Remove the spaces) A bug report has been opened with VSO Software: http://bugs.vso-software.fr/view.php?id=406 It will probably be pending, the analysis of such file, but let's see if they can find an issue with for now. Thank you !
I can upload the file. I have contacted Claire and awaiting for her reply to instruct me how to upload. BTW, has anyone successfully convert a Real Video file to DVD using this latest version of ConvertXtoDVD?
Hello munchu987, I'm jacques the author of ConvertX We have properly received your sample file and analysed with success. It's a problem of the rmvb container demuxer that has been identified. The problem will be solved in the next release of ConvertX. Thank you very much for your patience and your active support. It is much appreciated.
Hey munchu987, There ya go, a message directly from Jacques, the author of ConvertXtoDVD. See how easy it is with VSO ! You put the effort to upload 1 or 2 files that had issues, and the next release will work on those 2 files and probably millions of other ones ! Good job, and thank you for helping VSO making a great software. A happy customer myself !!!
Thanks Jacques and cougar_ii. Any idea when the next release will be? This latest release just came out, will the next one be a few months or even a year away? Is it possible to have some kind of patch release to put in this fix? All of the rmvb files I tried to convert failed, so this seems to be a major bug for the Real Video support.
(not jacques--but me) I will try and get you the beta version so you can test before it is public. and otherwise a new release I would say, in a week or a month depends on what else will be added/ rectified. Thanks for you help!
Hi again, I think VSO are working on big big things on the engine, so this time it may take a little bit more time. Usually, when there's a major bug, and/or a few minor ones, VSO is always on the ball, and usually get's us a new build within one week sometimes !!!
Wait, so CAGal and Jacques are two different person? I'm confused Anyway, I'll be happy to test the beta version for you for the fix. Just let me know when it's ready
