calling with a pc via a modem? (not with skype,voipbuster)

    is it possibleto call a other persons phone via a pc?
    i have a analog modem in my pc
    can iconnect it via a cable with my provider and call someone?

    are you talking about dialup modem to talk to somebody who is using handset? if yes than can talk to them but only thru the phone line.
