Hay, im moving to the Italian Alps next october and i want to buy a laptop to take with me as im going on my own to work out there so i will be away from my family and friends for 6 months.

I want a laptop so that i can still keep in touch and so that i can play some games when im bored.

They have Wifi out where im going to work so thats not a problem.
I've looked through a few laptops at the usual place i.e. Dell, Alienware, Scan etc etc. But for my price range they really don't seem worth it. I have about £800-£900 to spend, it's has to have wireless, at least 1GB ram at least 80GB HD and i want it to have a half decent graphics card but everywhere i look you have to sacrifice something for something i.e. to have 1GB ram you get a piss poor GFX.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for a laptop in the £800-£900 range?

well i have an awesome HP Pavilion ZE2000, cost me £700 - AMD Turion64 ML-30+ (64bit cpu), 1GB PC2700, 60GB hard disc, ATI Radeon Xpress 200M, wireless, modem, dvd burner etc etc, but that was some months ago, there's probably better out there now for the price
