hi, my my computer is 2 years old, its an emachine, putting a printer into it caused the power supply and motherboard to blow, having not turned it of before i plugged it in, i have had new monther board and power supply, but now when i turn the computer on its asking me to activate windows again, i havent got a windows disc, shop never gave me one only a recovery disc, so i dont know the product number to activate it, does anyone know what i can do now, the shop has now closed where i purchased my computer from, many thanks.
Is the Motherboard a eMachines replacement same model if not you'll have to buy a new windos xp Chris
