I dont have a problem converting an original .avi to my palm using the pocket DVD wizard program, however anytime i try to take a .wmv file and convert it with pocketdvd wizard i alway wind up with a file that is 0Kb. Is anyone else having any problems using pocket DVD wizard to save .wmv files on their palm E2?

I just tried using the palm software by adding the .wmv file under the media section of the palm software and hotsyning it , but it never finishes hotsyning and then locks up when you try and cancel the hotsync. any suggestions?

try using another program, i use PQdvd & Apollo to convert from DVD to Palm format. I have both .mpg & .avi files running smoothly using TCPMP.
For the hotsync problem, do you have a memory card reader? Try plugging your SD card into a memory card reader & xferring the files via Windows. Bypass the Hotsync entirely. Xfering a file via Hotsync is about 10x as slow as by USB. So your memory card reader will always be faster than having the files streamed via Hotsync. Just remember to backup your important videos to your PC every so often, along with your Address Book (6 files in my case), MemoPad & Tasks List.
