I have recently bought Guild Wars, and the first night I played, it kept locking up on me. I have no clue what has happened, and I need some help.

Also, the terrain and buildings are some times all flashy, and I don't know what to do.

Could someone give me some help?
I have a GeForce FX 5500 graphics card installed, so the graphics should be fine.

    Thanks!

Did you update your graphics card driver?? That card is really out of date for a graphic intensive game like guild wars. I'm not sure that "your graphics should be fine".

Well.. I got my Guild Wars, (all though I bought it right after the first release an havent played quite a while) working on my little brothers 1,1 GHz 512 Mt Geforce 2 16mt or 32mt (can't remember anymore) Graphics worked on minium and game ran pretty smoothly. There has been some issues with geforces graphics-cards and with integrated graphics. Example the game was unplayable on my acer laptop with VIA chipset and integrated graphics, all though it had faster memory and faster processor and 128 vid-card (well.. it was shared memory with system). Wisit www.guildwars.com and look for graphics issues.

I guess your graphics card should be fine then. :). It's probably the drivers then.
