hdmi cables

    Hoe does this work? Do I hook this up from my set top box to the tv?How much clearer is it than those other hd cables?

    The major difference is that HDMI carries audio as opposed to DVI (is that what you meant by "other hd cables?" that will carry the video only...they are otherwise essentially the same. With DVI, you'll need to use your optical or coax for the digital audio.

    HDMI and DVI will deliver a better pic than the three cable component colored with red, blue and green though you really need to have one hell of a good set of eyes to tell the difference in my humble opinion but facts are facts and that's what the facts say LOL!     [bold]edit:[/bold]I'm not sure if you know so I'll mention it just in case: the yellow RCA video cable and the S-Video cable carry a regular picture, not HD.
