Hurting the laser

    I heard that if you do not add garbage data when burning your games it hurts the laser. Cananyone confirm this?

    It'll decrease the lifespan of the optical module if garbage data isn't present. Has to do with the laser working harder and the assembly snapping the laser back everytime it hits the last bit of data without a buffer present.
