lite on crap.

Hi All.
Not knowing to much about dvd roms, i went out and bought a lite on dvd rom, well guess what!, I cannot get it to play DVDS it will play a CD Ok, But not DVDs i know this seems to be a common problem, but I dont understand the replys, could someone tell me in english, what can be done please.

Ok so are you talking about blank dvd's, burnt dvd's or commercial dvd's (films from blockbuster etc)?

Used windows media classic, and it plays all dvds fine, Thanks for the replys.
