@chriskarl....welcome to afterdawn. Are you sure the mouse just isn't dirty inside around the ball at the bottom if that's what you have? If so, you can unlock the ring around the ball on the underside of you mouse, remove the little ball and just clean the contacts on the inside with contact cleaner or a little alcohol on a Q tip or the edge of a cloth and just rub it really good to clean it. If that's the type of mouse you have, with the little ball, eventually they get dirty inside and typically, moving the arrow around your monitor and whatnot is difficult, it gets jerky or won't move or move after you're done.

@emachine....I just saw from your profile that you're from good ol' PA ... what part? I'm from Philly. Ireland is in the west around Pittsburgh somewhere and tocool4u is from Eastern PA but I forget where...somewhere around Allentown, I think.

No.. i have a laptop computer its not an x-ternal mouse, its on the keypad... anyways.. i tried to see if it was a big program running and if it was just screwing with my mouse but it wasnt.. and im pretty sure its not my settings.. o and another problem lol... a while ago i posted on a virus that i thought i had .. it was telling me when i started up my computer that operation system cannot be found...??? well i took yalls advice and put in the recovery disk and well it still pops up, but not as bad as it used to do. Im still scared though for what this could do to my computer in the long run.. any suggestions..?? o and i also lost a $400.00 program when i did the system restore.. that freakin sucked.. Adoby photoshop 06.. i lost my access code.. if anyone can help me there that would be nice..
