    Hi,

Since updating to iTunes 7 my quictime player can't show any video.
It's just a green screen with some flickering purple lines.

    Please help.

Hi, I found the following solution after many weeks of GREEN and PURPLE SCREEN problems with Quicktime 7 (player and Pro).

on the Quicktime menu, click 'Edit', 'Preferences...' on the 'Advanced' tab, in the 'Video' section un-check the box for 'Enable Direct3D video acceleration'

Then just close the player and re-open.

If that does not work, try disabling DirectX in Quicktime by selecting 'Safe mode (GDI only)'
