How would you run a game (Myst 10th Anniversary Masterpiece Edition) on a iBook which runs off mac OSX intel? The system requirements say this exactly... "MAC - 8.1 / 9.1 (not OSX native except Myst III)"

Hey there! I don't know if you are still watching after a month or so, but I was passing by on a Google search and, since nobody replied to you, I felt the need to drop in and tell you.

No, there is no patch to allow you to play older/classic games on OSX on an Intel Mac. Classic support was dropped for the Intel Macs. While I'm hoping that the creators will provide a fix for Myst and Riven like they did for Myst III, I haven't heard anything but negative in that regard. I'm trying to find out tonight, actually.

The solution I've heard for hybrid type software is not to try to use the Mac version, but boot your Intel Mac under Windows using BootCamp and use the PC version of the software instead. I don't know if this is an option for you, but it's worth a shot, since the Anniversary Edition is on hybrid DVD.
