    Hi. I live in the Middle East and they block most sites. I need a proxy, I think to get around it, but of course all the proxy sites seem to be blocked. Does anyone know a list of proxies I can get to or have another idea how to get around it

    Just remember that with any proxy, whoever runs that proxy can and may log everything you do. Also remember that it's not impossible to still monitor where you go and what you do even if you use one. However, I wish you good luck.

    Thanks Dunker I learned something today.
    So whoever runs the proxy might decide to track your movement, can they, if you say like put in bank accoutn details, for example, into an online banking site, which you connected to via a proxy, will the proxy site owner be able to see your details and stuff?

    Oh, sure. They can simply re-encrypt any connection between you and their proxy; the proxy and the website will be encrypted with the website's certificate.

    @BluRay
    Thats a good list. Small yet good resources.

    I have checked those sites. Being a programmer i can assure you guys that those proxy are fine and will not store any logs.

    Because http://www.browserhelp.org uses same script as www.browserproxy.com
    Even http://www.notrack.org uses similar script.

    So there is 100% safety while you browse using these kinda sites.

    Any smart proxy operator will, if for no other reason than to cover his own ass, log anything and everything, should a user do something really stupid like download kiddie porn, send out threats or hack people's bank accounts.

    I would rather kill myself if my ISP was like that!

    Just kidding, i'd kill the ISP, or I would switch to another one!
