Hi
My friends got a sony RDR-HX510 and the hard disk has started clicking so he bought a new one after getting it tested.
He got the exact same drive - Seagate 80gb and I put it in for him but when he switches on it powers up with the error message. HD ERROR and it won't let you do anything else.

Any ideas?
