The memory varies, 256/512/256/1024 and different processors. I have lost disc in all of them today. Some were Xcopy and some Clone2 - AnyDVD also running. Firmware and drivers were the most recent as far as I know. Could this just be the memorex disc??? Seems the disc with the holographic numbers work better than the ones with the visible stamped numbers?? HELP!!!! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??? Nero 6.6.1.4 This version of Nero contains some bugs, uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html and then install this more stable version, BOTH packages http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe Update firmware to 1.29 from here http://wwwbsc.pioneer.co.jp/product-e/ibs/device_e/file/DVR111D_FW129EU.EXE A minimum of 512mb RAM is recommended to burn successfully, suggest you add further RAM Poor quality discs, try Verbatim or Sony (made in Japan) Slow burn to 4X
