I'm planning on getting an Inspiron e1705 laptop, and I just realized that it supports 1080i/p HD. Since my regular TV doesn't support HD, I wanted to hook up my xbox 360 to the laptop. I wanted to get the VGA cable for the 360, but I was wondering if you have to have seperate speakers to hook up the audio cables, or if there is a place on the laptop where you can plug them in. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The VGA port on the Inspiron is not an INPUT - you use it to connect the laptop to a monitor. The only way you can watch the 360 picture on the laptop screen is if you have a tuner card. It also has a DVI port so you can connect the laptop to an HDTV.
