just wondering what games you are all looking forward to playing.. some of the games i cant wait to get my hands on are:- crysis, bioshock, hellgate:london, call of duty 3,& half life 2:episode 2. but ill have to build a new pc after xmas is over with as i currently have:- amd athlon 64 3000+ 2.0ghz, 2gb corsair twinx xms ddr400 pc3200, nvidia geforce 6600 256mb agp, 250gb samsung sp2504c sata hdd, with windows xp home & sp2.. i also have windows media center edition 2005, but will stick with xp home as i dont know which is better.. ;-) * after watching the videos for enemy territory:quake wars & halo wars, i just had to add them to this list.. i must admit im more looking forward to getting my hands on halo wars as those graphics look something else.. they look like they are in the same vein as crysis... does anyone know when halo wars is due for release? i suppose it wont be for a couple of years. i take it it will be directx10 as i just cant see directx9 producing something with that much detail... dont get me wrong there are some amazing games out there & here are the games in my collection (best games first):- [bold]quake 4:special edition, doom3, prey, oblivion, guild wars prophecies & factions, far cry, halo:combat evolved, F.E.A.R, call of duty 2, half life 2 & episode 1, company of heroes, battlefield2, titan quest, call of juarez, just cause, SiN episodes:emergence, warhammer 40,000:dawn of war, the godfather, need for speed:most wanted, condemned:criminal origins, rome:total war, reservoir dogs(MOSTLY FOR THE MUSIC), the moviesremiere edition, fifa 2007(EVEN THOUGH I PREFER PRO EVOLUTION), total overdose, sim city 3000, stubbs the zombie, caesar IV, ship simulator 2006, the ship, micro machines v4, jedi knight, starcaraft: & brood of war, splinter cell, black & white, stolen, hitman:codename 47,hooligans:storm over europe, big mutha truckers, counter terrorist special forces:fire for effect, command & conquer:generals, rollercoaster tycoon 2, airline tycoon:first class, & monopoly 3d...[/bold] some of these games are terrible i know, but thats because they were either cheap or were bought when i didnt know anything about pcs(only 6 months ago).. i haven't even played quarter of these games as i like to start a game & play it right through.. if anyone knows of a great game that isnt in my collection......let me know
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (here: http://www.enemyterritory.com/ ) and Halo Wars(here: http://www.halowars.com/ ) look interesting, but look a long way from coming out.
